The challenge
On a fast line, tracking data is only useful if it arrives in time to act on. The moment an item is scanned, the system needs to know what it is — its License Plate Number (LPN), its parcel record, its destination — fast enough to make the sort or divert decision before the item has moved on. A tracking lookup that lags is a decision the line has already passed.
What we build
We build bespoke database interfaces that connect the production line directly to your data systems, retrieving LPN and parcel information the instant an item is scanned. The interface is engineered for the line's timing budget, not a back-office one — resolving each scan to its record in real time and feeding that identity straight into sortation, merge and divert control.
The technology
The result is scan-to-track in under 20 milliseconds from scan — the item is identified and its tracking data resolved fast enough to drive real-time control decisions on a moving line. The interfaces run against deterministic control platforms, so the data path is as tightly timed as the machine it serves, and it scales from a single line to multi-controller architectures.
Why it matters
Sub-frame tracking is what lets identity, data and physical control act as one system. When the line always knows what each item is the moment it is scanned, every downstream decision — sort, merge, divert, exception handling — is made on live, accurate data, at full speed, every time.
